    Although known around the office as the Top Dog, he is, in fact, the “cat” guy and spends a great deal of time being bossed around by his 12-year-old British Shorthair, Duchess Belle. Entrepreneurial in nature and with an ethos that every adventure should be centred around the idea of fun, Andrew’s decision to start Waggel was born from the challenge of making insurance different and the belief that if done in the right way it can be fun.

  • Richard Willars

    CTO
    Richard is traditionally a full-stack developer who loves solving complicated problems and architecting and building full systems from head to toe. He met Ross whilst working on the new Land Rover websites and a few years later was asked by Ross to help Waggel take their technology stack to the next level. Richard also enjoys playing many musical instruments, including drums, guitar, keyboard, bass guitar and saxophone.

  • Ross Fretten

    CPO
    Ross is a coder-turned-user-experience-architect with a diverse background; he stared in an MTV show before spending two years as a racing driver. Post-childish-shenanigans, Ross was head-hunted by Ogilvy and tasked with bringing about speedy and meaningful innovation. Ross left Ogilvy and created his own health and wellbeing platform for dogs, which Ross took onto The Apprentice before co-founding Waggel. Ross is the proud owner of his Golden Retriever and life-partner, Sailor.
